2019

The “Gênero Ameaça(n)do / Genre Menaçant, Genre Menacé” (Threaten(ing)ed Gender) is a series of events with guidelines for gender and sexuality that takes place in different places over the years, among them: Rio de Janeiro, Bauru and Paris.

The visual identity of the event was developed in order to be adapted in each of the events and in their respective local languages. The construction of the brand begins with the concept of claims through megaphones, implying the conical shape. The fragments of rectangular boxes compose the plurality of lines of the movements and the pink and blue colors involve the criticism of the normative binarisms. The dynamics of the name make it possible to combine the words "threatened" and "threatening" and the letters "ing" stands out. In Portuguese, the highlighted letter is "n" and In the French version, the title was adapted, but the visual structure remained similar to the main identity. The typography collaborates with the aesthetics of the hand-painted posters.
